An individual who looks like a potato is the object of cooking jokes in each of the twelve story chapters needed to complete the game. This one makes sure that the cutscenes are as infantile and pathetic as possible. The composition of the characters could somehow survive, if not for the appearance of the annoying representative of the Nopon race (known from the previous part of the game). As a standard, the team includes a brilliant thirteen-year-old who likes to shine with supernatural b*****s for her age. The tracing paper is chasing the tracing paper. First of all, the characters that are painfully clichéd and have not very interesting characters fail. On the other hand, the scenario itself is definitely one of the weakest elements of the game. For most of the game, we actually feel like alien refugees trying to save the species at all costs. The very atmosphere of discovering an unknown planet inhabited by alien races has a strong imprint on us from the very beginning. During an emergency landing, some of the cryogenic chambers with people broke away from the main unit and had to wait for the rescue of the search teams. He wakes up in the middle of an alien world.

We start our adventure with Xenoblade quite unexpectedly in the character creator, where we can choose the gender, skin color, height, hairstyle, scars and even the facial hair of our avatar. The Ark eventually crashes onto the surface of an unknown planet called Mira, forcing the survivors to fight to survive on a wild and dangerous planet. Earthly refugees and heirs of civilization have been drifting in space for two years looking for a celestial body whose conditions would allow for colonization. Only one ship of American origin escapes safely from the solar system. Unfortunately, most shuttles are destroyed as soon as they leave the atmosphere.

Just before its destruction, huge ships-arks full of people, supplies and a database of our species’ heritage take off from the ground. The earth coalition, sensing what is going on, launches the Exodus program, which is to allow the survival of the human species. In 2054, the Earth becomes an eyewitness of the clash between two alien civilizations. The new version has no direct plot to the first Xenoblad, but there is also more science-fiction than fantasy here. The expectations of the fans towards the game were very high considering the fact that the previous game is one of the best seventh generation productions. The Nintendo console thus received a title that can without shame compete with the biggest RPGs of the past year.
Such a gigantic, extensive and forcing players to explore the production on their own has not been yet on WiiU. When I sat down to write a review of Xenoblade Chronicles X, I didn’t know where to start.
